At Team 9140, we believe that being a 'Robobot' extends far beyond the FRC field. Our members spent the season pouring back into our community by mentoring local FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams and volunteering as event staff at the Dripping Springs Regional. By guiding younger students through the UNEARTHED challenge, we aren't just teaching code—we're building the future foundation of our own program and fostering a lifelong love for STEM.

Team 9140, The Robobots, closed out a historic FRC 2025 season by proving they are a force to be reckoned with on the world stage. Finishing in the 93rd percentile of all robotics teams worldwide, McNeil reached the state finals and secured a dominant 8-2 record in division qualification matches. With a #13 ranking in Texas and a hunger for a state title in 2026, The Robobots have officially set the bar for excellence in Round Rock ISD robotics. Read more on school news article.
McNeil High School transformed into a hub of innovation in August 2024 as Team 9140, The Robobots, hosted the first local off-season FRC competition since 2018. Welcoming nearly 20 teams from across Texas, the event provided a critical platform for our students to mentor new members and pilot technical strategies. Beyond the competition, the Rodeo underscored our team's commitment to building a local robotics community where students from across the district can collaborate, compete, and grow together.
